ABC or 123 app for iPhone and iPad

Help your child to learn the alphabet and counting while observing some fun facts about six different topics: Animals, Colors, Countries, Foods, Musical Instruments, Toys & Games.
Over 150 words with picture, pronunciation, and spelling - good for ESL students, too!
By utilizing the rotation function of the iPad (landscape/portrait), the app provides two interconnected applications:
- Portrait mode for the alphabet
- Landscape mode for numbers

** iPad in portrait mode = alphabet and letters app: **

The child selects one of six topics, and 26 letter buttons appear. Tapping a letter button displays a word beginning with that letter and its picture, while a voice reads. The letters can be selected in any order. There are also buttons to go forward or back by one letter. Or automatic-play mode can be chosen, and each letter from A to Z will play consecutively without intervention.

When not in automatic-play, touching the object on the screen will cause a sound or action.
• Animals - animal zooms in while making its sound
• Colors -   opposite color shows below current one
• Countries -   map of country shows its place in the world
• Foods -   related images, sounds, or both take place
• Musical Instruments -  each instrument plays a brief tune
• Toys & Games - related movements and sounds occur

** iPad in landscape mode = numbers and counting app: **

The child selects one of six topics, and 26 number buttons appear. Tapping a number button counts out that number of objects on the screen, while a voice reads. The word for the number is also displayed. The numbers can be selected in any order. There are also buttons to go forward or back by one number. Or automatic-play mode can be chosen, and each number from 1 to 26 will play consecutively without intervention.

When not in automatic-play: tap a special button for an interesting, pinch- to-zoom image.


** General features: **

The iPad can be moved between portrait and landscape at any time to shift the focus between letters and numbers, even when in automatic-play mode.

The reading voice can be turned off or back on at any time without affecting other sounds.
